February 1, 2018 | By Scott Cooper

Canadian Real Estate Prices Falling Fast

After a tumultuous 2017 the Real Estate market in Canada, and specifically, the GTA, cooled considerably in the last few months of the year.

Although home prices continued to rise compared to previous years, by December, the meteoric inflation seen in the housing market from 2013 - 2016 tapered off significantly.

Now, it appears that decline is the most pronounced drop anywhere in the world.

HuffPost reports that newly released data from The Dallas Federal Reserve Canadian Real Estate prices dipped by 3.82% in the third quarter of 2017, the most since the early 1990s.
